Terms of Use

The terms behind the membership.

These terms govern clero.health and the Clero membership. By using the site or enrolling, you agree to them.

Last updated: September 28, 2026

Enrolment is not open yet. The membership described below is in preparation. We publish these terms in advance so they can be read before anyone signs up. We will date any change before enrolment opens.

Who we are

Clero Health LLC is a Washington limited liability company. We operate clero.health and provide non-clinical membership services: education, the enrolment experience, care navigation, and non-clinical support.

We are not a medical practice and we do not provide medical care. All medical services are provided by licensed clinicians employed or contracted by OpenLoop Healthcare Partners, PC and its affiliated professional corporations, or by other independent licensed professionals (each, a “Provider”). Providers are independent of Clero. Your Provider is the provider of record and holds your medical record, and clinical judgment belongs to your treating clinician alone. Billing is handled by our telehealth partner, which is the merchant of record, as described under Pricing below.

Who can use the service

You must be 18 or older, physically located in the United States, and located in a state where the service is available at the time of your visit. The membership is for your own use.

What the membership includes

  • Oral naltrexone, a prescription medication for alcohol use disorder. The naltrexone provided through the membership is a compounded medication, prepared by a licensed compounding pharmacy for the individual patient from a Provider's prescription. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved: the FDA does not review them for safety, effectiveness, or quality.
  • One 12-week supply shipped per subscription period, with no routine lab work required.
  • An initial review by a licensed clinician, asynchronously in most states, or by scheduled video visit in the states that require one.
  • A refill review every 12 weeks, and the ability to request a live consultation at no extra cost.
  • Non-clinical support and educational materials from Clero.

A membership is not a prescription

Enrolling is a subscription for access to a licensed clinician and, where medically appropriate, medication. Enrolment does not guarantee a prescription. Every patient is evaluated by a licensed clinician before any prescription is issued or transmitted to a pharmacy. If treatment is not appropriate for you, no prescription is issued, no medication ships, and your subscription is cancelled and refunded as described in our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

What you should know about naltrexone

This is general information, not medical advice. Your clinician will review your history and tell you what applies to you.

  • Do not take naltrexone if you are currently using opioids, including prescribed opioid pain medicine; are dependent on opioids or receiving opioid maintenance treatment such as methadone or buprenorphine; are in acute opioid withdrawal; or have acute hepatitis or liver failure.
  • Common side effects include nausea, headache, dizziness, tiredness, trouble sleeping, and anxiety. These are usually mild and often ease over time.
  • Important: while taking naltrexone, opioid pain medicines may not work normally. Tell any clinician treating you — including in an emergency — that you take naltrexone, and consider carrying a note or wearing a medical ID.
  • Tell your clinician about all medicines you take, any liver problems, and if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding.

Pricing, billing, and renewals

  • The Classic program is $99 per month, charged as $297 for each 12-week subscription period.
  • Your subscription renews automatically every 12 weeks until you cancel. There is no monthly billing option.
  • To avoid a renewal charge you have to cancel before the cutoff shown at checkout and in your account. Cancel after the cutoff and the coming period still runs; your cancellation takes effect at the end of it.
  • Payments are processed by our telehealth partner, which is the merchant of record, through Stripe. Clero does not bill you directly.
  • Your card statement will show “OPNLP Health”, not Clero Health.

How we take your consent

Before we collect your payment details, the checkout states the full price, the renewal amount, how often it renews, and how to cancel. Immediately above the payment button, in the same block, we show that your card will be charged $297 today and $297 again every 12 weeks until you cancel, and that you can cancel any time from your account. You give express consent to the auto-renewal by a separate action before any charge is made, and we email you a confirmation of those terms after you enrol.

Cancellation and refunds are covered in our Cancellation and Refund Policy.

How payment works

  • All prices are in US dollars.
  • Card details are collected and processed by Stripe on the merchant of record's behalf. Clero never receives or stores your full card number.
  • The amount shown at checkout is what you pay for that subscription period. We will not charge you anything beyond the amounts shown there without telling you first and getting your agreement.
  • If you see a charge you do not recognize, email us before disputing it with your bank. The statement line reads “OPNLP Health”, so a Clero charge may not look familiar. We can identify it and, if it should not have been made, ask the merchant of record to refund it.

Pharmacy partners

Prescriptions are filled by contracted partner pharmacies, or by a pharmacy you ask for. Which of the partner pharmacies fills your prescription depends on the medication and your location. Some of the partner pharmacies are compounding pharmacies, which prepare the compounded naltrexone described above.

  • Red Rock Compounding Pharmacy — redrockhomepharmacy.com — 1240 East 100 South, Suite 220, St. George, UT 84790 — 435-703-2900
  • Health Warehouse — healthwarehouse.com — 7107 Industrial Rd., Florence, KY 41042 — 800-748-7001
  • Precision Medicine — precisionmeds.com — 2657 Merrick Road, Bellmore, NY 11710 — 516-833-6262
  • Triad Rx — triadrx.us — 26258 Pollard Road, Daphne, AL 36526 — 251-380-7630

How your prescription reaches a pharmacy

  • By enrolling, you authorize your Provider to send a prescription electronically to a pharmacy for dispensing and shipment, if they decide medication is appropriate for you. Unless you ask otherwise, that will be one of the pharmacies above.
  • You can ask to use a different pharmacy. Tell your Provider which pharmacy you would rather use and they will send the prescription there where the law allows. Price and shipping may differ, and we cannot tell you what another pharmacy will charge.
  • Your prescription may be transferred between pharmacies for availability, pricing, or other operational reasons, consistent with the law and with any instruction you have given. The pharmacy that filled it is named on the label.
  • Medication ships to the address you give at enrolment, so use an address where you can receive mail. Keep it current; we cannot recover a package sent to an old address. Shipping times are estimates and can move with pharmacy processing, carrier delays, weather, or holidays.
  • When it arrives, check that the label carries your name and the medication your clinician discussed with you, and follow the storage instructions on it. Where the law permits it, some medication ships in packaging that is not child-resistant, so keep it out of reach of children. If the package is damaged, the label is wrong, or something is missing, contact the pharmacy named on the label or email us and we will help.
  • Clero never handles, stores, or dispenses medication. We are not a pharmacy. Dispensing is done only by the licensed pharmacies above.
  • Naltrexone is not a controlled substance. We do not sell, prescribe, or arrange controlled substances of any kind.

State coverage

Services are available in all 50 states and Washington D.C. Medication and product availability varies based on clinical appropriateness, applicable federal and state laws, or other regulatory requirements. Not all therapies are available in all states. Availability is subject to change.

Some states require a live video visit before a clinician can issue your first prescription. If you are in one of those states, you will be scheduled for a video visit as part of enrolment.

The membership is offered in the United States only. We do not ship medication outside the United States, and we do not enrol people located outside it. Our articles can be read from anywhere, but nothing on clero.health is an offer of treatment where it would not be lawful.

Telehealth consent

Before receiving care you must review and accept the telehealth consent, which your Provider supplies and which names the practice that will treat you. See our Telehealth Consent page.

Your account and your information

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, including your identity, location, medical history, and current medications. Inaccurate information can make care unsafe.

How we handle your information is described in our Privacy Policy and, for Washington consumers, our Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. Your medical record is held by your Provider, not by us.

Electronic communications and signatures

To use the membership you agree to receive these terms, the telehealth consent, billing confirmations, receipts, and other required notices electronically — by email or in your account — rather than on paper. Where the law allows a notice to be delivered electronically, that is how we will deliver it.

When you click to accept these terms, the telehealth consent, or the checkout disclosures, that click has the same effect as a handwritten signature. You need a working email address and a device that can open email and web pages. Keep your email address current, because that is how we reach you about your subscription and your medication.

You can ask for a paper copy of any notice, or withdraw your agreement to electronic delivery, by emailing us. Withdrawing it means we cannot continue the membership, so we would cancel it and apply the Cancellation and Refund Policy.

Your Provider takes its own consents at checkout and before care. Nothing in this section replaces those, and for anything clinical, your Provider's consents control.

Educational content is not medical advice

Articles and other materials on clero.health are general education. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and they are not a substitute for care from a licensed clinician. Reading them does not create a clinician-patient relationship.

Emergencies

If you are in danger, call 911. For mental health or suicidal crisis, call or text 988. For substance use treatment referrals, call SAMHSA at 1-800-662-4357. Alcohol withdrawal can be dangerous and sometimes requires in-person medical care. Clero does not provide emergency or crisis services, and this site is not monitored for emergencies.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site: no attempts to access other people's information, no interference with the service, no automated scraping, no misrepresentation of your identity, and no resale of medication. We may suspend or end a membership for misuse or for safety reasons.

Our content

The content, design, and trademarks on clero.health belong to Clero Health LLC or its licensors. You may read and share our articles for personal, non-commercial use with attribution. Everything else requires our written permission.

Changes

We may change the service, pricing, or these terms. If we make a material change, we will post the updated terms with a new effective date and, where required, notify you before the change takes effect for your subscription.

Ending or suspending a membership

You can end your membership at any time, as described in our Cancellation and Refund Policy. We may suspend or end your access to the site or the membership if you break these terms, if we reasonably believe your account is being misused, if continuing would be unsafe, or if we stop offering the service. Your treating clinician may also decide at any time that treatment is no longer appropriate for you. When a membership ends, any refund is handled under the Cancellation and Refund Policy. The sections on disclaimers, limits on liability, your responsibility to us, governing law, and disputes continue to apply after a membership ends.

Disclaimers

We work to keep the site and the membership accurate and available. Even so, to the fullest extent the law allows, we provide the site and our non-clinical services “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise that the site will be uninterrupted or free of errors, or that treatment will produce any particular result.

Medical care is provided by your Provider's clinicians, and medication is dispensed by independent pharmacies. Clero does not direct, and is not responsible for, their clinical or dispensing decisions. Some states do not allow certain warranty disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Limits on liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Clero Health LLC and its owners, employees, and contractors are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of the site or the membership. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms, the site, or the membership is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for the membership in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for our own gross negligence, fraud, or intentional misconduct. Nothing in these terms limits any claim you may have against your treating clinician, your Provider, or a pharmacy for the care or medication they provide. Some states do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

Your responsibility to us

If someone brings a claim against Clero Health LLC because you misused the site, gave false information, resold or shared medication, or broke these terms or the law, you agree to cover the reasonable losses and costs that result, including reasonable legal fees, to the extent the law allows. This does not apply to the extent a claim was caused by our own negligence or misconduct.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Nothing in them limits any right you have under the consumer-protection law of the state where you live.

Customer service

Email support@clero.health. We answer within two business days. There is no phone queue and no retention script.

  • Billing, cancelling, refunds, or the site: email us.
  • Your care, your dose, or side effects: message your care team through your Provider, which holds your medical record. In an emergency, use the numbers above.
  • A shipment or the medication you received: contact the pharmacy named on the label, or email us and we will route it.

If we cannot resolve a complaint, the informal step under Resolving disputes applies before either of us starts a formal proceeding.

Resolving disputes

Most concerns can be sorted out by emailing support@clero.health. Before starting a formal legal proceeding, you and Clero agree to try to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days after one of us sends the other a written description of the problem. If that does not work, claims are to be brought in the state or federal courts located in Washington State, unless the consumer-protection law where you live gives you the right to bring your claim there.

General

If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. If we do not enforce part of these terms, that is not a waiver of our right to do so later. These terms, together with the policies they link to, are the entire agreement between you and Clero Health LLC about the site and the membership. Your Provider's telehealth consent and Notice of Privacy Practices govern your relationship with your treating clinician.
