Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy
Required by Washington's My Health My Data Act. It covers consumer health data that HIPAA does not.

This policy applies to consumer health data that Clero Health LLC collects from Washington consumers and that is not protected health information under HIPAA. Information we handle for a treating provider as its business associate is covered by HIPAA and by that provider's notice of privacy practices, not by this policy.
Categories of consumer health data we collect, and how we use it
- Your interest in alcohol-related treatment, which you tell us by joining our launch list, selecting a category that describes your situation, or contacting us. We use it to respond to you and to tell you when the service is available.
- Enrolment information you enter before you become a patient, once enrolment opens, which we use to route you to a licensed clinician.
- Information you write to us in a message, which we use to answer you.
Categories of sources
We collect consumer health data directly from you. We do not buy it, and we do not collect it from data brokers or advertising networks.
Categories of consumer health data we share
- Enrolment information, shared with our telehealth provider so a licensed clinician can evaluate you.
- Contact and message information, shared with service providers who host our site and deliver our email under contract.
We do not sell consumer health data. Selling it would require a separate, signed authorisation from you under the Act, and we do not ask for one.
Categories of third parties and specific affiliates we share with
- OpenLoop Healthcare Partners, PC and the affiliated professional corporations that provide care through our program (telehealth provider).
- Pharmacies contracted by OpenLoop that dispense prescribed medication.
- Hosting, email delivery, and analytics providers acting as our service providers.
Clero Health LLC has no corporate affiliates.
Your rights
Washington consumers have the right to:
- Confirm whether we collect, share, or sell your consumer health data, and access that data, including a list of the third parties we shared it with.
- Withdraw consent to our collection and sharing of your consumer health data.
- Delete your consumer health data, including from archives and backups.
To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@clero.health. We will verify your request and respond within 45 days. We may extend once by another 45 days where the Act allows, and we will tell you first.
If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. We will respond to the appeal within 45 days and explain our reasons. If we deny the appeal, you may submit a complaint to the Washington State Attorney General at atg.wa.gov/file-complaint.
